Distribution Status of Imported Livestock Products in Korea: Focusing on imports and Distributors

Abstract

This study aims to seek an efficient distribution structure that can maximize the effect of FTA tariff reductions in Korea’s imported livestock market. As a result of the study, it was found that the imported livestock market in Korea did not sufficiently reflect the effects of the FTA tariff reduction on consumer prices due to the irrational distribution structure. In conclusion, in order to maximize the positive effects of the FTA in the imported livestock market, the government needs to make active and detailed efforts.
