The primary purpose is to develop indicators for evaluating the competitiveness of Kangwon National University’s farm by function and growth stage of the affiliated farm. A survey with experts was done to evaluate the importance of competitiveness indicators. The concept of farm competitiveness and setting indicators was done before using the stratification analysis process (AHP). The result indicates the necessity of introducing digital technology-based smart farms and vertical plants to meet the present requirements. Moreover, there is a need to prepare curricular and extracurricular programs that can utilize the facilities once introduced. Second, an incentive system is necessary to facilitate research and projects continuously at affiliated farms. Third, as a long-term approach, it is necessary to establish a strategy to build an industry-academia-research cooperation cluster (tentative name, ‘Inno Campus Farm’) to prepare for future agriculture.
